The Wheatland County Food Bank wants assure it’s clients that we are still operational during the COVID-19 Crisis. The building is restricted to volunteers only and we explain the pick-up process when you apply for a hamper. Pick-ups will still be on Friday afternoons and we ask for your patience as we work to get through this crisis.

Wednesday Bread pick-up will be self serve and bread will be left outside the the door. Please be courteous and mindful of what you take as others will need bread as well.

Donations of food my be dropped off on Wednesday mornings from 10-11am, Thursday mornings- 9-10am and Friday mornings 8:30-10:30am. Please call ahead to let us know you will be dropping off and leave outside the door. If you could also put your name and address on the donation so we can send a thank you note.

Our drivers are also picking up from the donation bins at Sobey’s , Co-op and No Frill’s daily so you may also donate at these locations.
We Would like to thank Sobeys, Tina’s No Frills, Co-op and Walmart for their support as well as our corporate donors, and the residents of Strathmore and Wheatland County.

Our current Most Needed: Canned Meat, Canned Fruit, Flour, Sugar, Soda Crackers, Kraft Dinner, Tomato,Mushroom, Vegetable and Chicken Noodle Soup, Canned Corn, Brown Beans, Laundry Detergent, Shampoo and Deodorant.
